VIRGIN’S EBA OFFER FALLS WELL SHORT OF WHAT WORKERS WANT

August 18, 2017

Your TWU negotiating team met with Virgin management in Melbourne on Tuesday 15 August and Virgin tabled an initial EBA offer that falls well short of what Virgin workers want.

Your TWU team has rejected the items that would leave you worse off and told management Virgin ground crew will not settle for a substandard EBA and attacks on take-home pay.

The offer does nothing to increase full-time jobs, increase part-time hours, or fully remove ROS days – but also attacks your penalty rates, take home pay, and sick leave entitlements.

By sticking together as TWU members, we can unite to pressure Virgin management for a better, fairer EBA that starts delivering a better future for everyone. Join the TWU today because together we are stronger.
