Over the past few weeks I know we have asked a lot of you and during this challenging time you have stepped up to demand for you and your co-workers to be seen by the Federal Government.
Today, we are one step closer to making your demands reality.
In no stretch of the imagination, you have been on a rollercoaster which would have made anyone question their strength but you came together and have fought this battle together.
The last 24 hours have seen your stories shared in Parliament – with key Labor and Liberal Members calling on the Government to act.
Yesterday, Senator Tony Sheldon tabled a disallowance motion in the Senate to grant the 5,500 workers at Dnata access to JobKeeper.
But we need to keep the push going full steam ahead today.
Just last night a key member of the Liberal Party – Craig Kelly MP – came out in support of dnata workers, saying he had raised the issue in the Coalition Party Room (in front of Josh Frydenberg AND Scott Morrison).
We have word that Senator Jacqui Lambie is supportive to the motion being put to the Senate by Senator Tony Sheldon.
