Airports National Day of Action – Tomorrow

August 20, 2019

At just one company of 324 employees at Sydney Airport, there were 132 injury reports in one year.

And that is just the tip of the iceberg – safety is a serious issue in all companies at airports across Australia and aviation jobs are becoming more dangerous with increasing casualisation and big companies refusing to take responsibility for wages and conditions down their supply chains.

That’s why on Wednesday airport workers are standing together for a National Day of Action: they’re demanding that safety, and not profit, be the number one priority in the aviation industry.
