CDC are attempting to trick employees by announcing insignificant pay increases. There is NO pay increase in July agreed by the TWU or your EA representatives.
CDC are attempting to scam their own hard-working employees, they believe you might be foolish enough to think they are acting in good faith and in your best interests.
THE .3001% CDC IS REFERRING TO IS THE AWE, WHICH EQUATES TO 8.4 CENTS ONTO YOUR HOURLY RATE AND ONLY RAISING IT FROM $28.02 TO $28.10.
THE TWU EA LOG OF CLAIMS IS FOR 4% PER ANNUM. THIS WOULD BE 2% IN JULY – WHICH EQUATES TO .56 CENTS ONTO YOUR HOURLY RATE – RAISING IT FROM $28.02 TO $28.58 AND A FURTHER 2% IN JANUARY 2019 – RAISING IT TO $29.15 PER HOUR + 1% TO YOUR SUPER A YEAR.
ALTHOUGH SOME PROGRESS IS HAPPENING IN THE NEGOTIATIONS WITH BOTH PARTIES, THERE IS STILL A LONG WAY TO GO BEFORE THERE IS AN AGREEMENT.
In fact, the TWU have received authorisation from the Fair Work Commission to hold a Protected Action Ballot.
CDC TWU-BUS members will receiving Australian Electoral Commission voting slips through Australia Post.

Ask your TWU Delegate, EA Committee Members or TWU-BUS Organiser.
Just to confirm – CDC management are going around their depots, doing a road show and discussing THEIR EA document. DO NOT mistake this as a sign that there is an agreement of any kind between the parties. There is still a lot of negotiations to go with CDC before your TWU-BUS EA committee will be in a position to endorse any agreement to our members.
We need to stand together to show CDC we are united and ready to fight for a good agreement. Also, to be eligible to take Protected Industrial Action you MUST be a member of the TWU.
