Congestion survey – where do you get stuck?

May 29, 2016

Road users are being urged to name Victoria’s most congested roads as part of the RACV Redspot Survey 2016.

The survey, conducted every two years since 1991, has been a major factor in identifying future road repair projects and helped secure over $1.5 billion of government funding to improve redspots throughout the state following the 2014 edition alone.

The Chandler Highway bridge, for example, was named the worst location for congestion in the 2014 survey and the State Government has committed $110 million to build a new six-lane bridge at the site to improve traffic flow.
