Planned bus route changes

November 10, 2015

UNDER the Liberals, public transport was a nightmare. Bus services were cut, connections poor and changes made without consultation. The system needed a plan for the future and, as part of Labor’s plan to provide better bus connections for university and school students, there will be extra shuttle bus runs to Monash, La Trobe, Deakin and Melbourne universities.

The Andrews government also plans to introduce new services and improve others in growth areas across suburban Melbourne, including the Cranbourne to Pearcedale, Frankston to Cranbourne, the 799 Cranbourne North to Merinda Park and 796 Cranbourne shopping centre to Clyde services.

There will be similar changes to the 798 Cranbourne shopping centre to Selandra Drive route, the 897 Cranbourne to Dandenong route and 898 Cranbourne East to Cranbourne Station services.
