Quality members help kids

March 3, 2016

TWU members were out in their droves at the recent Geelong Camp Quality Convoy to help raise awareness and funds for children’s cancer charity Camp Quality.

This year 372 trucks took part on 14 February for the 36km drive from Avalon Airport to the Geelong Showgrounds. Last year, the inaugural convoy attracted 197 entrants.

For the record a whopping $140,000 was raised to assist children living with cancer and their families.

Organisers wish to say a massive thank you to all those who got behind the 2016 Convoy, without your support what was achieved would not be possible.

And remember, the beauty of it being an annual event is that for those who want to help again, or for those who didn’t get the chance, there is always next year.

Camp Quality Tasmania and Victoria state manager Lee Emberton said he was thrilled with the result.
