The TWU welcomes the appointment of Senator Glenn Sterle – a former truck driver and TWU Organiser – as Shadow Assistant Minister for Road Safety.
Senator Glenn Sterle has been a staunch advocate for road safety and has tirelessly highlighted safety issues and abuses in the transport industry for many years.
He is a natural choice to represent the community and the TWU looks forward to working with him to improve road safety for all Australians.
