TWU (Vic/Tas) branch secretary Wayne Mader this week attended the largest superannuation conference in Australia as the Union continues to advance effective retirement and investment outcomes for members of TWUSUPER.
Mr Mader was one of 2000 senior industry participants in attendance at the Association of Superannuation Funds of Australia (ASFA) annual conference which heard cutting-edge advice from 100 key international and local superannuation experts.
TWUSUPER – Australia’s largest Industry SuperFund for the transport and logistics sector – this year achieved the milestone of having over $4 billion in funds under management.
An employee director of the fund, Mr Mader said it was important to continuously identify and implement ways to make the fund even better.
“These events are a great way to gather important information that will help achieve first-class service outcomes for TWUSUPER members and to provide security for them in retirement,” Mr Mader said.
