February 23, 2016

Jetstar members last week overwhelmingly rejected a national agreement put on the table by the company.

A spokesperson for the national TWU office has advised the Union will attempt to reopen negotiations with the company to ensure the EBA is at acceptable level.

Qantas yesterday announced profits of $688 million in the six months to December 2015, the largest six-month margin in the company’s 95-year history, and Jetstar announced half year profits of $262 million – larger than the airline’s best-ever full-year results.
