There are upcoming works to Swanston Street between Franklin Street and A’Beckett Street, which form part of the Swanston Street Redevelopment. The first weekend of works commence midnight this Friday 4 May and will continue until approximately 5am Monday 7 May.
Note that the opening weekend of works will be noisy and will cause some disruption to local traffic as Swanston Street will be closed to traffic between La Trobe Street and Victoria Street, and both Franklin Street and A’Beckett Street will be closed at their intersections with Swanston Street.
To avoid delays we suggest that you reschedule any essential services or deliveries to before the commencement of works on Friday or after their completion on Monday.
