Big couple nights recently at the Bendigo and Shepparton member dinners.
Congratulations to the members rewarded for their long term contributions to the movement.
The Branch regularly hold events and training days to educate members and bring awareness to union activities.
But, knowing that most of you enjoy nothing more than a hearty meal and a chinwag, we like to offer members the chance to get together socially and will again be putting on a truckload of dinners each year. Members are not only welcome, but encouraged, to bring their spouses.
The events are a great night out and help to build comradery among grassroots members working across different sectors of the transport industry.
Last year was rounded out with a trio of Christmas driver dinners in Tasmania and, so far this year, the TWU caravan has rolled into Rochester, Warrnambool, Leongatha, Bendigo and Shepparton. There are plenty more to come this year with the next being held in Wodonga on June 16.
