The Road Safety Remuneration Tribunal has released the interim report of the Inquiry into Sectors of the Waste Management Industry.
The report addresses specific aspects of the industry raised during a period of consultation – including mandated start times, remuneration systems, vehicle maintenance and standards, and long service leave. It also presents an overview of issues, incentives, pressures or practices affecting safety and fairness in the waste management industry that could be improved by a road safety remuneration order.
