L. Arthur have attempted to change your flexibility rights in your EBA in exchange for wage increases but L. Arthur never proposed these changes until the very last minute of the negotiations, why?
This is an unacceptable attempt to strip away hard fought conditions!
TWU members have fought long and hard to win the right to improved working conditions, including the modest pay increases we are seeking.
VOTING YES & STICKING TOGETHER
The secret ballot will be sent to your home from the Australian Electoral Commission asking you to vote on whether to take protected industrial action in defence of your working conditions. By voting YES to all questions in the Protected Action Ballot we will show Management we’re united in our request for a fair deal.
We are asking that you vote YES to all questions included in the ballot. We must stick together and show L. Arthur that we will never surrender our rights or working conditions.
It is important for members to have their vote and to vote YES to all types of action. Any type of action will not be taken by the Union without the majority of members voting in favour of it.
